What is the best product to clean and ploish exhaust tips? I seem to never do a good job at them and I'd like to get them shinny new. Once the are clean, can you seal them with something like jetseal 109 like you do with the wheels?

The only 2 I tried are Optimum metal polish and Duragloss 881 metal polish. 881 does a good job but the smell is terrible, I mean don't smell the tub too close or you will pass out ! As for Optimum well like every Optimum products, works like a charm ! Cleans very well, easy to apply/take off and from what I remember, also as a pleasant smell.

i used collinite 845 on mine, but im sure that jet seal would be as good as, if not better than collinite because it is a true sealant.

The best product I have used on stainless steel exhaust tips is 3M Marine Metal Restorer and Polish, product number 09019. About $25. It's seriously strong. I tried Flitz, SV metal polish, and others with little success.

I cleaned my 4 tips and treated each with a different LSP - FMJ, Opti-Seal, 845, and SV Autobahn wax. I will report on the durability in a few weeks.
