My 6 year old daughter was home from school for a PD day. I went to physiotherapy this morning and dropped her off at my mother-in-law's. I picked her up after and driving home she tells me "Daddy I don't feel good" and proceeds to puke all over herself, the leather seats, everywhere. I get her home, bathe her, remove the car seat which literally has a big pile of puke on it, wash her clothes and start to try to clean my car. I'm still on one crutch and it was really difficult. I had to remove the back seat b/c the barf got under the seat belt buckle and under the seat cushion. She even barfed on the seat belt. Not a great day at all. I gathered up the barf with my gloved hands and paper towel. I then used DG carpet cleaner for the carpet and the seatbelt. I removed the seat and used the RG pad and my steamer for the leather. The carpet was steamed as well. I sprayed the insulation under the seat with DG odour removal and will re-install the seat when it dries out. My knee is killing me. I'm finally on my ice machine. I took a percocet and washed it down with brandy. I'm just shot. I was looking forward to having a fun day with her, not this.
Sorry to hear about that Richy, hope the day gets better for you and your daughter, I hope she feels better and your knee eases a bit.
Thanks and thankfully she feels better...she wants to eat for crying out loud! I'm gonna give her a little bit of clear broth and see if she keeps that down.
that sucks isant it great having kids lol mine was sick flu last week an now they have off of school this week from snow here never ends.
Man Richy, that really sucks on a few different levels...... You may want to look into the below product. It has active enzymes that digest the bacteria... Urine Odor Remover
Wow, sorry to hear the barf news man . I'm sending you a cyber shot of Jager to heal the nerves and a hetero-hug to make things better . Please note: The hetero-hug is like really hetero... Like one of those Heimlich maneuver hugs that involve a double-beat on the back (though the Heimlich is really from the rear... yep that sounded even gayer) and then a quick separation. I have now officially left this conversation...
That's terrible! Murphy's Law at it's finest right there. Makes sense that the disaster would happen when you're gimped from surgery. That sucks. Take 2 oxy's. That makes everything tolerable lol. Hope you both are feeling better soon!
Richy that's why you have to move closer to central ontario. I could have helped clean up Hope your knee heals up quickly and i also hope your daughter feels better.
OK..reminds me of a story. Two newfies are in a restaurant and a well dressed lady at a table next to them starts to choke. The one newfie runs over to her, grabs her and flips her over. He proceeds to pull down her pants and underwear and licks her ass. His buddy is horrified and yells at him "What the Hell are you doing?" The other newfie says "Why the Hindlick maneuver of course!" Par for the course with kids of course, just the timing was rotten today. Normally I don't mind stuff like that. Thanks Jason...I'll take a look at that..will probably need to use it again in the future, LOL...'cause she's the oldest. I do feel better now and my daughter is doing better as well. I gotta read the instruction book for the car seat and disassemble it. My garage still stinks until I get that washed. Thanks Aron..I appreciate it buddy!
i had a shitty day as well. parked in a grocery store and went off to work trying to avoid a $12 all day parking fee...ended up getting towed and had to pay $142. The bball games I was suppose to referee got cancelled- so thats $120 cash that I won't be getting this weekend. And on top of that when I went to get my car back my front chin spoiler was hanging off and so I have go get that fixed. oh did I mention the 2 parking tickets I got as well...that's another $110. FML Atleast its Friday right?
sux to hear richy. hope the both of you feel better. i was barfing the other day myself. my stomach still isnt right. and it was after i got a cold from my kids this past weekend. tomorrow will be a better day for the both of you.
Sorry to hear about your daughter Richy, hope she is o.k.. I know you had your day planned out working on the finish of your table. I do have your info on that.
Glad to hear your daughter's doing much better Richy! It's a bummer that she barfed all over but the more important thing is that she's feeling better.
Sorry for the bad day for you and your daughter. I've been there, vomit everywhere and my child still wanted to eat shortly after. But I'm thankful to have my sick or not children everyday I live and them as well.
Did I miss something? Is my calender wrong? It MUST be Friday the 13th!!! Sorry buddy..I know that...the perc's were kicking in I think, LOL. Thanks Roger...you need to come over for some of that broth...mine, not my mother-in-law's! took another perc and followed it up with some more "broth", LOL. So much for the "best laid plans.." Can you pm me the info? Thanks Dana. Thanks Denzil. Thanks Ankeet. I hear ya..we had ours late so it seems like even more of a gift. On a side note...the dyslexic in me smiles every time I see your screen name.
