The paint was perfect to work on. Corrected very well with one pass. Only a few times did I have to do 2 passes. The paint is 100% swirl/scratch free now. looking good man. You sure are taking a liking to that HD Uno stuff. And where is that car at? I swear i have seen you do numerous cars there hehehe. Nice work man. Thing looks fresh.
Boy you got that Saturn looking great! I love the wheels on it too..really set it off (although can you imagine those wheels on the car if it was red?). Never heard of HD uno...is it a non-diminishing abrasive like X3 where you can use it with wool or finish down with foam? It appears to be. How expensive is it compared to X3? I like my X3 and am almost out of it.
32oz Pro bottle is about $35. It is in fact like X3 system, you can use same product to cut, finish. HD Car Care says you can get LSP ready using a orange pad and Uno and if you want to amp it up use a blue pad. Many people found it may leave micro mars just using one pad so some people, like OP, use it in multiple steps to really amp up the shine and gloss.
Thanks guys. HD UNO is the best polish I have ever used. Don't know anything about x3 unfortunately. Sorry. ag - don't know who claims the UNO leaves micro marrs - even with wool the paint looks amazing, minus a bit of holograms.
Have read some people saying it did, I in no way can say it was the polish or user error. It is one of those things of personal pref. I would love to try some UNO at some point to see how it is, but right now happy with Menzerna.
It is all ok man. I have to say it was user error. This polish is bullet proof. Menzerna is wonderful but this polish is in its own league. Every time I use it I can't believe how well it cuts and how beautiful it looks. Plus there is no dust. Quickly replaced 105 for me.
Would you put UNO ins the same category as 105 in terms of heavy cutting on hard clears? If so, may have to get one of the small bottles just to try out sometime. I have POXY but have not used it yet.
