Did that Mustang yesterday, seeing as I'm out of Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #3...going to need to pick something new up. Suggestions? I may consider going with something more aggressive AND something intermediate. Thx!
We use Mark-Vs Uno, does both jobs, simply switch pads from wool to foam then to a finishing pad. It's easy to use and gives an outstanding finish. Mark V Products ::: Waxes, Polishes, Glazes & Compounds ::: Uno – All in One Polish 16oz
Power finish(P203S), and PO85RD(Final Finish) will handle 80% of what you need to do, the only thing it won't is heavy scratches.
NVM, found it on Autogeek. Menzerna Super Intensive Polish, Menzerna PO 83 , Mernzerna PO85RD 3.02 Not a bad price.
Is your Mustang newer? If it is I would not bother with Menzerna since your paint is on the hard side. Pick yourself up some Meguiars 105 and 205, these two will work much better on your paint.
I'll be using it on all types of vehicles, not just my own. For instance, my sister has a 1997 Honda Accord that needs some TLC
Get menzerna. I do not care if you are polishing a honda or cermaic clear on a Lambo Menzerna polishes will do it.
The Megs polishes are more versitale than the Menzerna polishes. You can do a lot more with two megs polishes than you can with 4-5 Menzerna polishes. The only Menzerna product I would suggest would be 85rd to finish polish after 105 and 205 for that little extra.
I'm a huge fan of Menz. Power Finish. I find it to be capable of both good correction and good finishing. I use it more than any other. With that said, I keep considering trying something different, mostly 3M. AR has had good things to say about them in the past. As for Meguiar's, last time I tried M105, which was the old version, I hated it. I haven't tried the new version, perhaps it's better. Certainly lots of folks have success with 105, both the old version and the new one. I'd also consider trying Mark-V, and I may try another Malco polish. I've been using a Malco cutting compound some lately, and I'm very pleased with it. It cuts like old M105, but has a long working time. That I can get it locally is another huge upside.
