Recently picked up some Pinnacle Signiture Series paste wax, I've got plenty left however I think I want to take it to the next level.

I did a Polish/Glaze/Sealant/Wax on my car over Xmas holiday and was definitely happy however I do not have a garage to store the car for the Sealant to cure overnight. So, I was thinking that since Fuzion is a Wax AND a sealant that it may be my best bet.

I also saw that Autogeek offers the 1 refill if I provide the certificate of authenticity. That pretty much covers what I'd spend on two tubs of the Signiture series.

Is there anything I should know about this stuff? Is it gimmicky or is it the real deal??

PS: My car is silver but I do intend to start detailing some cars for some side money.

2 tubs of SSII is $100. 2 tubs of fuzion is $175. It is a great wax, and is very easy to apply/remove. Maybe get the small sample to try out first. Also, get the small sample of supernatural.

    Is supernatural a sealant+wax?

I love Fuzion. It is very on and off. Feels like warm butter. Let it set for about 15 minutes eventhough you can wipe it right off. I find it's better if you let it set for a short period. I'm getting about two months on my daily driver 2010 Camaro SS and about 4 months on by garage babies ( 2008 Z06 and 1957 Corvette). I also get about two months o my wifes daily driver (Mercedes GL450) which is Irridum silver. It makes it look wet and deep. Itis sick in my opinion. I just ordered SV Concorso to compare the two, but I love Fuzion! You can't go wrong with it.

    Supernatural is a wax.

Do a search on Fuzion. I know FMINUS has a huge thread on Fuzion on here.

I see. I read the review by buju just now.

Still have some questions* though. For instance, would the Sealant in Fuzion work the same as the Wolfgang Paint Sealant 3.0?

If you want a hybrid, pick up some Collinite 845 instead. I got 3 weeks max during the heavy rains here in SoCal lately. Luckily I was testing for a friend but it doesn't seem too weather friendly to me. Its pretty much dead now (1 month)

Nope. Treated it like my other waxes. Prep and everything was identical so it shouldn't be an issue. The same techniques have 5+ months on SN and Concorso

i anted to try Fuzion but my buddy who is a wax guru along with many others stated that durability was not there with this wax. I have been wanting to try signature series II myself.

If you really are set on Fuzion give it a try, if you dont like it you can always sell it or trade with someone im sure.

From my experience with it, it is indeed a wonderful wax to have in your collection.

BUT, from my experience...in a tropical climate the wax lacks in the durability department. Aesthetically speaking, Fuzion definitely pops out the flakes a bit especially on darker colors. Beading is decent IMO when you compare to say some of the higher SV waxes (Concorso, Finesse, Mystery, etc.)

On my truck I have gotten up to one good solid month out of the wax before a drastic change in protection and looks. This was with daily QD wipedowns and weekly washings. I'm certain that those who live in more drier and cooler climates, you will have a bit more life out of it that I did. It seems coastal tropical climates where there are lots of humidity and salt in the air constantly really wears down the Fuzion. When I was using it, application was always one coat for me.

Hope this helps...not trying to deter you from buying it but just sharing my :2cents:

Hmmm, maybe I should hold off. I live in South FL and it's raining here constantly.

I'll stick with my Pinnacle Sig Series II until it's gone. Then I'll consider some other options.
