^ I hear another brutal one is suppose to hit us tomorrow night. My street still hasn't been plowed and its been 2-3 days now. I am getting severe cabin fever here, I have already read half of my Series 6 license book in a day and a half. I have been getting emails from work and apparently hardly anyone was able to make it in today including myself so I don't feel so bad.

just an update on this a bit. Where I live, we got 28.5" of snow. there is another system on it's way right now, with a starting time of around 5-6 pm tomorrow. 12-18" is predicted, with the possibility of 24" or more. We only need something like 10" more to set a record for winter snowfall in our area.

Now I know other parts of the US and canada get this type of stuff more often, for the region where I live, this is crippling. Some townships will go into deficit, because of the costs storms like this bring.

Also, if we get this much snow midweek, it's going to be hurting businesses and the like.

the last 2 big storms we got were on the weekend.

Just saw the update on the news, guys stay safe up there. Remember, if you are going to polish with snow plug it into a GFI outlet, haha.

I feel your pain Roger. My backyard has 38 inches and we are expecting potentially another 20 inches just like you. I couldn't go to work today and neither could some other associates and it kills our investment activity which in turn means business gets in a mix. I still have yet to be plowed out of this last storm so I took it upon myself to shovel the WHOLE street just so I could get out. County government is actually asking people to shovel themselves out because they cannot get to everyone. This is getting crazy. Last year Maryland saw like 5 inches of snow for the whole year. Everyone stay safe.

I hear ya. I am not far from you in Delaware and we got 22 this past weekend and another 12-18 on the way. The State of Delaware was already over it's snow removal budget on the storm we got a few weeks ago.

I am so ready for spring...:yikes:

I am in the same boat Chas. I have 30" at my house and the 11 o'clock news just said up to two feet expected for this area over the next two days. The snow drifts in my neighborhood are up to 6 feet in some areas. The area is not designed to handle this much snow. By the way, your pictures are hilarious!!!
