This car belongs to a long time client of mine. Ive been trying to convince him for along time to get it done. Finally he gave in. Took it home and washed it then I clayed it to remove any wax and to show the imperfections better. PC Sonus white, orange, green, and blue pads 4star light cut compound 4star swirl mark remover LSP was Zaino sonus trim dressing.... I love this stuff. Looks so nice and doesnt leave a greasy residue. After 1st stage on the bottom.... Covered in wax. Letting it cure for an hour or so. I had to take a system pic. Pretty, decently loud. And now the after shots. Couldnt get any good sun shots because of the crappy weather, but still it looks good. I love the Sonus trim dressing. It looks wet but is dry to the touch.
Nice!! Would love to see more 50/50's and well more pics period... It is so hard to take pics as you work... What did you use for the wash? Wheels? IPA wipe down after the polishing or rewash?
yeah, I need to take more pics, but I currently have a pretty crappy camera, so half the pics I take turn out like garbage. And I am waiting on some more chemicals. The stuff I use now for wash isjust some commercial wash. megs clay. QD for clay lube.
no sir, It is actually a microfiber wash mit on a pole. I normally use it on vans and such to get the roof better, but all my other washing mitts were being washed. haha. and dont worry, there is a grit gaurd in the bottom of the bucket. Sorry about the lack of during pics. I got this job because I promised him I would have it done in 8 hours. Way too much work for stopping to take pictures.
