Thanks for watching guys! It's all about fun when it comes to our rides. I love turning the light on for guys starving for this info and I like to teach the way I learn. It has to seem like your having fun and not studying for a college exam. That's the way I want to present my information. If you are a noob, the Junkman is here for you. :thumb:

I agree 100%. That why I never make generalizations about any professional line of products unless I have used them enough to do so. Out of all the professional line of products I've seen mentioned on this forum, I can honestly say that in the right hands, they will all perform as advertised. The only difference between them is their application process. Sure, some are better suited for different applications, but that doesn't necessarily make them a better product. They are just better at addressing the application that they are made for.

well said. I was a little worried that the videos were not going to be up to par. You do a very good job at making a how-to video, especially when geared towards the novice. You explain things multiple times, which is a good thing. You know your stuff. Nice work.

Of course I couldn't help but chuckle a little at ALL the adam's schwag, but I enjoy Adam's products, so I understand where you're coming from.

I do find their grey clay to be pretty damn agressive. If you are correctiing the paint anyways, then no harm, no foul. But I wouldn't use it as a maintenance clay. I know you didn't mention using it as such, but just food for thought.

Welcome to military teaching 101.

Well, I wouldn't want to post this in the Meguiar's section! :D

The aggressiveness of any clay other than the Adam's blue clay is why I would never suggest a novice use it. Adam's only has the blue clay which is your least aggressive clay on the market. I want my information and products to safe for someone just starting out. Lord knows, the last thing I want to do is cost someone a paint job. If they follow the advice I present and use the products I use, they can't go wrong. I could make videos for every professional product on the market but if I did that, my sex life would suffer. The last thing you are going to get a Marine to give up is his country, his rifle, and his sex life!

So let me get this straight, if the products poor performance is down to my lack of skills, they must be a bad choice for novice detailers, right. I have 23 years experience working with auto paint, and the reason I haven't used Adams polishes regulary is because they simply dont work as well as the other products we have at our disposal, such as 3M, Mark-V, Farecla.

Could you also tell please me exactly what is put into polishes that give a filling effect, which your products don't have

Dude, you need to take a chill pill, this isnt autopia I am certainly not attacking you for your love of adams, the truth is your only mission is to make videos touting how awesome adams works for you, out of all your detailing videos the majority are adams videos. No hate there you work for them its understandable. I seriously doubt you would make another video touting another polish system, so my comment wasn't misinformed...simple

on edit: I know your a self employed computer guy, but you do have a business relationship with adams not that your a direct employee of adams like dylan is

I have at least 15 years of experience using Adobe Photoshop. I can barely navigate my way around the tool bar. What does this mean? It means that years of experience does not necessarily translate into knowledge. Had you researched the Adam's product line, you would see that they are geared toward the novice detailer, not to the automotive repair industry. That is not their targeted market.

    Thank you sir! :thumb:

    I posted that thread here.

Again, my videos are geared toward the novice detailer and I cannot think of an easier product to use or introduce to a novice. Making videos using a bunch of different products would be totally counter productive to the videos that I have already made as that would do nothing but cause confusion. If the Adam's line is what you use, then I am here to assist you with their application through my video series. If you want to learn how to use other brands, then you are going to have to visit me in my garage and bring lunch money... for both of us. :D

That's a very old series. I don't quite do it that way anymore.
