what do i need to polish the exhaust tips on my car? the tips are pretty dirty and have some rust that somehow got on them and wont come off. I want to shine them up a little. any help is appreciated
get some really fine steel wool like 0000 and some flitz polish. thats some of my favorite metal polish but thats just wat i do
Extra fine steel wool (#0000) and a good metal polish will clean them up great. I use Optimum Metal Polish and love it but there are alot of good metal polishes on the market both OTC and ones that can be purchased online.
Compound will also work with a mf...something like X3 or a medium cut..nothing too aggressive. You can also put the compound on the steel wool for a bit more bite.
