I'm not posting this to get sympathy, but I'll be going in a week today to get my left knee replaced. This saga will hopefully end with this operation. It's been 29 years since I first dislocated it. I will be off work for a few months they tell me so I'll be online quite a bit I imagine...you guys will get sick of hearing from me. Maybe I can get caught up on some of the over 1800 un-opened emails I have...I'll be posting up lots of jokes I'm sure and the ones that are completely inappropriate will get emailed to my buds on here for whom I have their email address. I'm down to 3 10 hour shifts left at work...woohoo.
Sorry to hear about the knee, hopefully this will be the end of the saga....wish ya the best of luck. ahh, we wont get sick of ya Richy...just keep the funnies rolling in
Good luck! I tore ligaments in my right knee twice and left knee once. Doctor's say I'll always be sore. Knee injuries never seem to get better--but my thoughts go out for a successful surgery!!
That sucks dude my friend did it an than his back never ends we do the clay deal when you done keep me posted thanks
Richy, I'm very sorry to hear this. I hope you are up and running for the spring time. Take care or take it anyway you can get it...:thumb:
Best of luck Richy. Operations and rehab is a pain in the butt but it will definitely improve a persons lifestyle. I can't wait to see you back in action. Cheers, Nick
Hopefully they replace the right one Good luck man, I'm sure you will be back up and running before you know it!
Good luck with your surgery Richy!!!!! They do those surgeries all the time man!!! You'll be fine. Just be sure to do the therapy they tell you to do!! Speedy recovery brotha!!!! Heath
Ankeet..thanks for that...you can be sure of the funnies my friend! Aaron..thanks..sorry to hear that about yours..maybe you have to look forward to what I'm going through..it gets no better with age, let me tell you. That sounds fine. Gary..I've talked to so many people who have had it done and they feel better than they have in years. I'm praying I have the same experience. Gianni..thanks very much. Thank you Jon. Dave..I hope so too...I couldn't run next to my daughter this summer to teach her how to ride without training wheels...that shit has to stop. Thanks Nick...I'll be living vicariously through y'all for a period of time!! I've already got people booked for when I think I will be back, hahaha. It's funny you say that..there are so many checks and balances, it's almost funny. Maybe I'll screw with them and say I'm there for a lobotomy...better not, don't want to give Ken too much competition...hahahahaha. Jason...sorry man...have you been getting mine on the odd one I send out? Heath...thanks..ya the physio is paramount! I worked it hard after my scope surgery last year. Cue the rolling stones "mother's little helper'...last time they had me on a weak version of that hillbilly heroin (oxycodone I think it was) and it didn't do shit. Thanks Danny...last year after my scope surgery, I got missing detailing so much I was out in my garage on crutches cleaning my car...my neighbours already think I'm nuts..I had to hide that one!!! Thanks a lot Pat!
Thanks Dana...remember me hobbling around DC like an 80 year old man? Thanks Carlos..I'm really excited about getting it done and getting back to normal!! Thanks very much Sergio.
