Thanks for all the tips. I now use the meguair yellow foam to apply. I am able to spread thinly now and it is far more easier to remove. Another reason i realised that will cause some sort of hinder to spread evenly is when the surface is not prep properly. When i first got the wax, i was so excited that I just put it on after a wash.

I apply it either by hand or with the Porter Cable. Removal after 20 min in 50f+ temperature is no challenge. I like the product.

I also like it on glass and wheels.

Resurrection of a old thread, I started posted that fk1000p was hard to remove and it gets harder when left on long. But now I feel that it is one of the easiest to remove even if i leave it on 1 hr.

one of my favorite products, never had issues removing it. In my experience if a product is difficult to remove it could be because the paintwork isn't in great shape, or the product may have been applied a little too heavy

I just started using it in December. Any comments on long term durability?

Water will affect the bonding and durability of a polymer unless it has fully cross-linked.

I would agree with the general consensus, applied too thick and the humidity is also a hindrance

You cant get the old can.

That was the old distributors repackaging when he was sorta attempting to basically trick people into FK1 being the finish kare.

Dip the pad into the jar, and then wax. Or I know some guys who take out the wax with a small spon, and apply it on the pad. The 1000P jar is large enough to dip in a 5" pad.

I've only use dthis product for a brief time, its no doubt one of my favority LSP's.

I use a blue Lake Country 5.5" pad. I take it off of the backing plate and swipe it in the FK container. Then apply the wax with the Proter Cable.

    I love it.

The 1000p did do considerably better than the EX-P on that test I was doing. No pics to show for though.

I got a new truck, and I will be doing the same comparison on brand new GM paint. I will update my results.

In a durability battle, pound for pound, you cant go wrong with Collinite 845 or 915, Fk1000p, DuraGloss 105, or Z5pro.
