That one requires a brief waiting period between first and 2nd wipe down to allow the wax to haze.
For my purposes I simply won't have time for that.

I would spray it one panel at a time versus the whole car at once. Just to make sure it doesn't dry out. The emulsification happens pretty quick.

If you dont have the time i would go with the CG speed wipe which is another great product from CG

I didnt read through the whole thread so someone might have already said it, but HD Free is an awesome product.

I made a thread/writeup on autopia when it first released. I wouldnt hesitate to use it on a slightly/moderately dirty car

Waterless wash similar to S&W. Never used it but I hear it was some pretty decent cleaning ability, including the inside of vehicles.

Well, somewhere along the line my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to give the PB S&W a try.

I have to say that I'm underwhelmed by this product.

I just used it for the second time and got the same results again, despite following the directions (using the product sparingly), using premium MFs (CG Shaggy Fur-ball for the intial wipe, followed by a Cobra 550 for a second drying pass): I still ended up with streaky areas over more areas than I'm happy with.

The first time I used it it was likely about 60 degrees (f) and this time just today it was 39 degrees (f).
If my only test had been conducted during today's brisk temps then I would write it off since some solutions act less than optimally when nearing freezing temperatures, but this wasn't the case.

I was mindful of working only one panel at a time with the car in full shade, spraying and immediately wiping, to ensure against the product prematurely drying. My 2nd drying pass also immediately followed. Streaking in multiple areas resulted all the same, making it necessary to re-spray and wipe once again.
Oh well. Glad I didn't buy a gallon.

I guess I'll give the ONR mixed to QD strength a try next.

I haven't tried the products you've mentioned, but I recently used DP's (Detailer's Pride) Waterless Wash on my Sunday car. Although the car wasn't trashed there was considerable road dirt behind the wheel wells and at the rear of the car, and the product did a great job without any streaking or marring of the surface. I also used the product on the exhaust tips which were cruddy and they cleaned up perfect.
I too use ONR religiously but will probably be using DP during the winter months, since it states it can also handle Road Salt and I believe it.

If I were to use ONR as a waterless wash, I would use it with 2 towels. One towel would get sprayed directly with ONR to dampen it up, then spray the paint surface with ONR, wipe with the damp "primed" towel, then follow with a dry towel.

I have always washed my vehicles or customers cars the traditional way using a quality automotive soap, 2 buckets and grout sponges...After all the posts on the different forums and the raves I thought I would give ONR a try. Just purchased my first gallon, used it to prep this F360 Spyder, loved the results.........

The method I used was a 2 bucket ( 1 bucket for ONR 2 ounces : 4 gal H20 ) the other bucket was just pure water for rinse out. 2 large MF towels one for wet wipedown application the other for drying. I left all the lowers, rockers, wheel well arches, diffuser and rear bumber areas for last. After the initial prep, the vehicle was thoroughly clayed, rotary polished, D/A polished, D/A waxed.....

I would definately use ONR again as a substitute for a traditional full vehicle bath if water limitations apply. ( If vehicle is EXTREMELY dirty I may be more hesitant...and may suggest visiting a coin wash first for a pre rinse to remove heavy build up then follow up with ONR)

Does anybody have an idea when the optimum waterless wash is going to come out it seems like it's going to be a great product judging how ONR is such a great product

Not sure about this but it's likely in it's final stages of dev.
I got ahold of a small container of the current batch but haven't had weather warm enough (been close to freezing almost every day since I received it) to test it.

Agree with you on the liklihood of it being a superior product. Optimum's reputation is top-notch IMO.

I have a pump sprayer loaded wit ONR at QD strength that I use before an ONR wash just to be safe.

I follow up an ONR with an OCW wipe.

I loved a PB's Spray and Wipe treatment, now its only ONR at different dilutions for me.

Also - ad some ONR in your foam lance mix. Adds lubricity while washing.
