Since we live out in the forest, we are surrounded by photo opportunities. Here are a few I took over the last week..... Love our local mountains but now I want a 300mm len$! Playing with the shutter speed, I was almost able to stop the snow flakes. Some ice forming on a local stream Some close ups of leaves. Do I live on the edge or what!!!! Piece of moss with a frosty mohawk! Coming home from from Starbucks this morning, these guys met me on our road. They are twice as big as they were last year. These were shot through the windshield so they look a little bluish. This guy is in cogneto as a fence plank.. Peek a boo! This picture looks way better on my computer but you get the idea.
Ken, you didnt take those I saw them last night on National Geographic webpage! You know Canada looks nothing like that, dont lie to us. haha jk....great pics!
lucky bastard? i dont know about that. having to keep your 9mm on the peg next to the dog walking gear cause of the coyotes ... and the crappy shipping rates to the US.. blah. but hey you have great views
Those are actually coyotes! They are friggen huge this year. Had a bunch of them attack a neighbors horse a while ago but other than that, no issues. The bears coming up onto our back deck are a bigger issue LOL
Just learning to play with the settings instead of using auto all the time. Frustrating, but enjoyable at the same time.
:giggle: I know how you feel Ken. I just got a camera for Christmas and I have to put it on auto or I just get way to confused.
Nice pics Ken!!!! The coyote pics are cool!!!! I love the one thats like "are you threatening me" Beavis look. We have coyotes around here but i'm not sure if they get that big.
Some stunning scenery out in your end of the world Ken...Cool pics as well dude, thanks for sharing with us :thumb:
