My wife absolutely loves these vehicles, I'm not a big fan of them my self I prefer the original Mini's, I like the old school look they have..but just me :shrug:

Any who, that Ferrari behind the Mini, is that a Dino? Have you done a video on that one Paul? I'll have to check your site a gain I'd love to see a video of that Ferrari :nod: :nod:

Also curious why you needed to wet sand, orange peel issue?

 

depends on the condition of the paint, orange peel, deeper marks in the paint etc. Wet sanding is better for some jobs as it avoids using higher speeds with the rotary which can cause other issues and excessive heat.

I've recently used the Mirka sander on a Focus RS with severe orange peel.

what grit would you say? 3000 i guess would be fine or you have to go to 4000? i want to wetsand my hood to take care of pitting and orange peel in one spot

 

depends really, i have 2000, 3000 and 4000 pads for the Mirka

go for some 3000, check your work often
