I wanted to share these pictures I took last winter of the front of the house after a snowfall. I used my Fuji 8000fd on a tripod with manual settings and a longer term exposure...I experimented with shutter release times. It would be a lot easier to do this with the Nikon, but it was still possible with the SLR.
Thanks very much. With the extra lights from the Christmas lights really makes a difference. Plus the snowfall of course. Thanks very much...not bad for an SLR, eh? Thanks Carlos..We used the 4th pic (the lightest one) for our Christmas cards this year (along with a shot of the girls too of course).
Pete..thanks very much. Piet..thanks, bud. Thank you Denzil. Thanks Matrix..I'll have to get back to you later on the details..it's on the other computer.
Pics looks good, but just wondering cause some look kinda grainy, maybe ISO was set too high and caused this?
Nice pictures and nice snow removal on the driveway and sidewalks. I bet they used a machine. Did you have a star effects filter on the camera?
Sorry to take so long to answer back! It was recorded at an ISO of 400 with an Fstop of 3.2 and a 1/2 second exposure time with a 5mm focal length.
