zaino clear seal

has anyone tried out zaino clear seal? My uncle came up from Los Angeles this thanksgiving and gave me a bottle of it to try out. He has used it on his cars and he said he liked it. I was just wondering if anybody on the forums has tried it and would like to share their experiences.:mounty:

 

I hear its decent stuff. Suppse to be similar to Opti-Seal.

 

Have it and it works pretty good. I like to use after ZAIO

 

has anyone used it to protect their plastic trim on their car? i have tons on my mkv rabbit, so i think it would be perfect for it. Im not so sure about using it on my glass though. This product also sounds perfect for rims

 

That same combo is great for wheels and by itself is great for glass I never used it for trim

 

yeah, i was surprised that it could be used for trim, but i thought about it, and it makes sense. I always worry about preventing my plastic from fading

 

I've used it. Im not a fan of Zaino. Its work time is awful. I have found better results with duragloss.

I tried Z-CS and Opti-Seal. They give the trim a nice slick feel. It doesn't change the look much.

I also touch it up with Optimum Car Wax after each wash.

Zaino Clear Seal Clear Seal Application:

Like all Zaino products I cannot emphasize enough. ‘Apply products very sparingly’ Z-CS is a self curing ‘transparent’ sealer (UV inhibitors) can also be used on vinyl trim

1. Use the new Zaino cotton applicator that comes with your Z-CS order.
2. Mist the applicator once or twice lightly
3. Lightly mist the centre of the panel
4. Work into the panel with 5-6 passes per section using back and forth motions (in direction of air flow)
5. Use very light pressure, gliding the applicator over the panel
6. Z-CS Clear Seal dries clean and ‘optically clear’ in approx.15 minutes (65° F - 21°C) and leaves no residue on the surface.
