I know not many on DB use Zaino, but giving it a shot: I recently acquired a bottle of Z-AIO to replenish/replace my Z-1. I love Z-1, by the way, but I cannot find it anywhere. This was my process: 1) Wash entire vehicle with CG CWG 2) Dry 3) Apply Z-AIO with the PC on 4 with a blue CCS pad 4) Let sit for 15 minutes 5) Wipe off with clean MF Now, when I was removing it (or attempting to), I noticed that I would only take off very little and the finish left was very hazy. I had to go over the entire SUV with Z-8 to take it all off. It looks fine, but it was a lot of hassle. Considering how easy it is to apply and remove Z-2 and Z-5, I'm a bit annoyed with Z-AIO. Any ideas?
I ran into the same issues Piet and chalked it up to high humidity problems. Since high humidity is a given here in good ol' NC I decided to give up on it and sold all my Zaino stuff. I usually had to go behind it with Z6 and it cleaned it up but like you said it was just a lot of hassle. I even tried letting it cure for hours on end and that didn't help. Since it's November now I doubt humidity was the issue for you.
Thanks for that JL. The good thing is that once you have your Z-AIO on there, you can keep layering your Z2 and Z5 all day long, never having to worry about it again, which is good. The only other thing I can think of is that it's not meant to be used with the PC, and that I should just stick with applying it by hand.
I sent an email to Sal Zaino and had a long response about 10 minutes later, impressive! Apparantly, I was using too much of it. And my drying times were off. In essence, he said that 1 oz. will do a car three times. And depending on the humidity (JL hit the nail on the had) it might need a an hour or so before it's ready to come off. I absolutely love Z2 Pro and Z5 and would never be without them. Just need to get good at applying Z-AIO!
