Who has to wait for the v-10 GTI to come out, just plug and go race around the city! As the GTI has 2 outlets you could sound like a 2x v-10! :gasp:

Should be one in the front under the radio, and one in the hatch on the right side. This may be one thing they took out in later models but I am pretty sure they did not take out the outlet in the hatch.
Yeah, I have those. I was thinking you menat two up front. Only one up front kinda suck as with iPod, phone charger, rader detect., etc. you kinda have to choose.
Hard wire the radar, you can do it to the sunroof panel/dome light panel, I use a 1 to 2 splitting cable if I need two plugs, but hardly do. I have seen some people take the second outlet that the GLI has, they have one or some have one in the center console inside the arm rest or on the outer panel in front of the armrest and splice the power wires to that and install it in the GTI's.
nice lol. well, here is the thing. doesnt matter how it sounds, it still your 4 or 6 cylinder engine. its like putting wing on your thinking you will go faster
