anyone know what kind of insurance you need for a detailing business? I heard it was called "garage insurance" or something along those lines. something that will protect my business against lawsuits, if I burn through the paint on a customers car. just something to protect my business. what goes along with this insurance? what do I need to qualify? thanks godoman
you'll need garage keepers which covers you if you mess up someones car and you'll also need general liability in case something happens while you drive the car
Up here in Canada, a garage policy covers the car while it is in your possession including driving it to and from a clients location. It does NOT cover damage done while you are working on it. That will require a separate liability policy. Hope this helps.
