I had strep throat and felt like hell, parked my truck too close to a fire hydrant like an idiot. In total, I got three tickets in two days. The problem was, the first day I got a ticket at about 9:30 by a real cop, then the next ticket was issued by some clown parking authority who issued it at 10:10? I got one the next day at 9:30, which is aggrivating but acceptable. How is this even legal?
Sorry to hear that bud ... these are few of the reasons they have their own freakin' show "parking wars".
I wouldn't park my vehicle in a no parking zone for an extended period just for fear they may tow it!!?
Haha funny you say that I just sent in a written appeal for a parking ticket to the University of Maryland for a $75!
maybe dont park in a restricted fire zone next time? people dont realize it, but if theres a serious fire in the area and that hydrant must be utilized, a car blocking it or restricting access is a serious issue, which in reality could jeopardize peoples lives if there is an entrapment situation at hand. and if there is a fire and you're vehicle is blocking the hydrant, expect you're car to be dragged/pushed out of the way by a truck, or have your side windows busted out and a multiple 4" supply lines running through your car :thumb:
Oh yeah I hear you. I was sick as hell and wasn't really thinking straight. I have no problem paying the two tickets but the one is just ridiculous in such a short time period.
