A bit of advice on the Optibond:

I mix it about 3:2 with distilled water, and put it in a spray bottle. Then I use a swissvax Pneu brush to spread it on the tire surface. also works well on exterior black textured plastics.

Just FYI if you wanted to try it out. I found optibond to be a little to thick at full strength to spread easily.

 

Thanks for that advice. I've also found that the Optibond can be difficult to spread. It gets caught easily on the tread. I might give it a shot in a small sample bottle this weekend.

 

I've been using optibond a 1:1 with a blue uber applicator.... I like it that way, but I'm probably wasting product more than anything...

 

I mix it a hair stronger than 1:1, just because I thought it got a hair to watery at that dilution.
