hey guys so one of my customers has a 66 cady that he has kind of restored. its beautiful other than the widows. There are the worst water spots i have ever seen in my life like by far the worst. I tried polishing with compounds, and everything and all it did was smooth the glass out. it took some away but not much at all. I guess my question is can i wetsand glass?? if not is there any other solutions???

I don't know about the wetsanding, but have you tried claying the glass with some aggressive clay?

There's the vinegar trick too. Not sure if you have tried these already.

    Good luck

DO NOT wet sand glass! you can actually shatter glass by doing that. I know many people have tried buffing/polishing glas but you can break/shatter the glass that way also

I have had great success with DG NU GLASS lately. Has removed all the water spots on 3 different cars when applied with a MF applicator pad. Worth looking into. I carry it if you are interested.

Have you tried M04 with a rotary and wool pad? Can you post pics of the waterspots?

What is the consistency of Nu Glass?

I had picked up some DP Glass Restorer. It has watery polish that feels gritty.
