well i detailed the exterior of my car today. just a wash and dry with a ww which is the first time ever usually its an absorber. then a run over with surf city beyond clay and then 3 coats of megs #26 using foam bonnet on an orbital buffer and microfiber bonnets to remove. also did the same 2 steps to the wheels. while using meguiars endurance to dress the tire. before: after: sorry for the quality i was using a 7mo hp camera. and a walk around vid: ashleyscarwax018.flv video by gixxerboi - Photobucket
Looks good! I wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the this same pic in the sun. I have Beyond Clay but haven't used it yet. What are your thoughts about that product versus using a traditional clay bar and spray (if you have used the latter)?
i like the traditional way better even though it involves another step. the beyond clay was nice but didnt do wat claying should do and didnt remove many swirls like a polish either. it pretty much takes both those steps and gives you maybe 30% of both. and its very hard to remove. but maybe i used to much. idk
Thanks for that. I will try it out soon. Awaiting a rotary. Once I get it, I will try clay and lube on one side with BC on the other.
