I must be the only one that does not listen to music when I detail. Just the noise of the polisher or what ever I am using. ha.
Usually I'll just throw on ESPN Radio and listen to the debates or whatever game happens to be on. Otherwise I'll listen to almost anything from country-rap-rock. You name it, it's on my iPod.
I often listen to podcasts I've got saved up on my iPhone. For music, it varies. I've been on a Soundgarden kick lately. During the afternoon, I often try and tune into Clark Howard if I can pick up the station. He's a personal finance guy; I find him interesting.
I consider detailing an outlet for stress and I find relaxing music very helpful when detailing. It helps me stay working slowly and carefully instead of rushing and cutting corners. Some bands I recommend - Modest Mouse (all time favorite group) - The Postal Service/Death Cab for Cutie - G. Love and Special Sauce - Jack Johnson
I honestly enjoy listening to oldies while detailing. The music is nice and calm, and isn't a much of useless noise like the current stuff
i usually listen to soul music & for correction process i use guns & roses, metallica, linkin park, whatever takes my fancy
Am I the only dinosaur on here ? Nothing more relaxing then some great doo wop or motown . Mix in some rythem & blues or big band swing. I'm soo old I remember when rainbows were in black and white. LOL Paul S
Bringing back an oldish thread here, but I figured I'd put in what I listen to. I listen to audiobooks. Nothing I haven't read before, because sometimes my concentration lapses and I would lose track of what's going on. So far it's been the Harry Potter books, I've read them several times each so I figured I'd listen to them for the first time. I've got 2 cars tomorrow, maybe I'll put Catch-22 on there, I've gotta read it for school
