Ok, I have SIP, but not in the original bottle. I got it in a trade. I have PO85RD in the original bottle, bought it from Phil at Detailers Domain. I was reading Phil's site looking to order more SIP because it did amazing correction work on my car this weekend (the one the dealership destroyed) and saw this note in the SIP description:

Note: Menzena Super Intensive Polish also goes by the part number Menzerna PO85RD 3.01 but it has been shortened to PO83 for simplicity by Menzerna USA, the US distribution office for Menzerna Polishes.

So, is SIP and PO85RD the same stuff? I thought the SIP I got in trade performed better. Am I imagining that? Maybe my skills with a buffer have improved? I don't honestly know.

Any input would be appreciated. No need to buy a new bottle of SIP if I already have it in the PO85RD.

    Thanks!

Todays American SIP should be PO85RD 3.02 - Super Intensive Polish overseas, and some up north is know by just Intensive Polish but has the same PO85RD 3.02 number. Not to be confused with the non ceramiclear rated Intensive polish - PO91L

PO85RD"final finish" is the finishing polish where ^^, SIP is the medium+ polish.

If you have used them yet you should easily be able to tell the difference..

Otherwise SIP(And powerfinish for that matter) is white, where 85RD FF is grey and a bit speckly(so is 106FA/FF)

The Super Intensive Polish Stock Number PO85RD3.02 has been renamed to PO83Q for simplicity.

Menz. USA messed everything up in there naming and didnt think it through very well as they had two different prodcuts with the same lablels and everything. But you want the P083Q or P085RD3.02 SIP

Ok, I went out to The Cart and checked my bottles..lol. I have the following:

    PO91 E - INTENSIVE POLISH

    PO85U - FINAL POLISH
    POS34A - POWER GLOSS
    PO115C - FINISHING GLAZE

    PO203S - POWER FINISH

So nonme of these are SIP. I'll have to get a bottle from Phil.

Why can't they just have a simple numbering system that is a little more logical?

That is what I have asked myself sense I started using Menz, what is up with there naming and numbering. I always check the bottom sticker before using it to make sure I got the correct bottle.

I think they are stamping the bottles now instead of putting stickers on the bottom.

No..lol. I use very little. 4 dots each 2' x 2' section. I just like to have a full bottle of everything. I'm weird like that.
