engineers and accountants/business majors ... people that need to pay attention to detail to every aspect of their tasks. Not in school right now ... but planning on continuing my masters in Engineering Management. I'm an IE. I have yet to meet an engineer that doesn't suffer from OCD when it comes to cars, computers, etc.
I'm going into my last semester at San Jose State University for Computer Engineering. I'm planning on pursuing a MBA if they accept me with my GPA. Oh yeah, I have to take the GMAT too. /sigh
Final year: Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) Majoring in Integrated Science (BSC), Concentration in Technology, Society and Environmental Studies, Minor in Earth Sciences. I hope they can fit all of that on my diploma!
LOL Graduated back in 99 from their EET program at the now closed Matteson campus. Laid off back in July so I started back up at the local CC to get my cert in HVCAR and hoping to get into Local 597.
Junior at Montclair State Univeristy. i hate this school lol and i cant wait to get out. oh yeh im a business major as many on here :thumb:
^^^ I got recruited to play football there ended up going to play for Salisbury University in MD and then transferred to UMD once I blew my shoulder out. Now I;m done!!!
sucks to hear about the shoulder i blew out my knee playing soccer in high school it still affects me to this day
Word of advice for engineering/technical undergrads...please be nice to your TAs. Do homework assignments neatly, don't scratch out/erase re-write multiple times over the same area. Define origin/axes, clearly spell out assumptions you make in solving any problem. Don't squeeze in anything... Also, if you've got questions on concepts/homework don't hesitate to take advantage of office hours. That's what we're here for, and believe me it's a whole lot easier to grade papers that are either completely right or empty then to try and wade through a poor attempt. Besides, it IS satisfying to spend time helping a student if they're making an effort to understand the material. Oh yeah, understand the physics behind equations before just blindly using them... Just my 2 cents...
