So Im sittin here bored on a sunday night looking at my various detailing products when I noticed some samples of wax I got from denzils last sale. I had previously tried some of them out already and new that I probably wasnt going to get another chance to try them since I still have other stuff that I havent used.

Thats when I got the idea to mix them. Superwax perhaps? :shead:

Anyways, heres the 5 different waxes that went into the mix

    Lusso Oro
    CG 50/50
    CG Petes 53
    M16
    476s

I just basically sat them in a pot of boiling water and let them turn into a liquid, than I poured them all into a bigger seperate container.

I dont know what it means or if its relevant but M16 was the first to melt, than 476, than 5050 and Petes 53 and LO were last.

Its only been cooling for about an hour now and its still pretty soft. We'll see how it goes

you shouldve gotten AB in there haha, it would be cool if you got the masking part of AB in that bunch. Looks like fun though, let us know how it goes

Not a good idea to mix a sealant in with the nuba, it would not work very well, haha.

Wouldnt the solvents in the wax be gone after boiling them?

Hope you dont end up with oil and wax separated.

No not really, only a small amount of them will burn off but as long as you keep the heat low you will be fine.

I scraped some off the edge of the outer rim (outside, not inside) of the container and applied it to a license plate cover I had. I let it dry for about 20 minutes. Holy crap the stuff was hard to remove. I dont know if that was the complete mixture though. It might have been just 476 or m16 that was on the outer rim. I havent tried the actual mixture yet.

BTW ive melted other waxes and never ended up with just oil and wax seperated. As you can see in the last picture its solidified again.

Those containers are from Denzil. He sent them like that

I believe some of the solvent may evaporate off but not enough to make a noticeable difference.

I did this with some nattys red because the container cracked and saw no real difference in application or removal

Someone over on autopia mixed #16 with some polycharger to see how it would effect it. Hmm, I have a few wax samples that are just laying around may have to play around this weekend.

maybe you can melt some of this stuff and add a few drops, you have the CH version? Dont know how long it will last after you polycharge so maybe a small amount, 20-30 mL

Yea I have both versions. Ill give it a try. Ill just follow the dosing instructions for the liquid waxes, I think its 2 doses per oz
