Hey everyone, I apologize in advanced for having to ask this embarassing question, but does any detailer have two pictures: 1 before, 1 after of a car from a full body position? I.e. a view of the vehicle that shows the front of the car, some of the size and the wheels? When I say "dramatic" I mean the car was really dirty before, and after it's amazingly clean? I'm trying to show a prospective consumer (without the detailing eye) the difference the service I offered causes and the value it can create for the vehicle. I'll give credit where credit is due, but I need some examples to show what detailing is in two pictures. If you are able to help out, please reply or pm me personally. If the pictures are of a decent resolution somewhere between 800x600 or better, that'd be better. If I do earn the business of this client, then I'll make sure I make a good solid set (their vehicle would really show this well) that I can use for my future business and advertising. Thanks in advanced guys!
Not a whole car, but here's a Ford F250 I did. This is the before/after of the driver's door. before any glaze/LSP: For the rest of the pics, check out the thread: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f47/my-first-professional-detail-continued-8118.html
No that looks great because unlike some of the photos I have "manipulation" is not an issue. I'll refer him to this thread once it gets updated with some more shots.
carn's pictures are good. i believe what you're looking for is in JL's threads. Specifically, I remember an E60 BMW 5 series having that kind of format.
Thanks for the help guys, I got him to commit to the detail. I'll post up photos tomorrow when I'm finished. Thanks for all of the help guys, these photos are a great reference.
spyral my friend, have you started with the rotary yet or are you still mastering the Flex? I have yet to buy my PC....maybe in a couple more pay cheques.
This might not be what you asked for but i believe the difference is big. I'm sorry that my cameria isn't the best and that the sun ins't there so you cant se the great shine the car had when it was finished. But damn this car was a handful.
Driver side door on Ferrari 550 Maranello. Right side polished; left side unpolished: Severe swirling on trunk face; prancing horse removed: Completed:
Hey guys i have a similar problem. I'm trying to convice some potential customers that a full correction is worth the price. I'm also trying to build my portfolio but to make it happen i need to convice and explain to those people what is detailing realy about. Do you guys mind if i use some of your pictures in this thread?
me and my buddy got bored one summer 90 degree night in cali He moved from Vegas, where one day it had snowed and all these branches broke so there were minor scratches, some pretty deep and he just kept complaining about it.. so we did a 2500 wetsand to 3000 (thanks paul from CG...btw FMINUS, i asked so have u seen phil..paul goes EVERY WEEK EVERY WEEK EVERY WEEK, lol) **my facebook pix arent posting??**
Just search for JL's detailing, that's the way he does his write-ups. Full body before, and then full body after, camera in the same position.
