wow thats awesome! i wish i could find a good dealer like that, most of the crap i get from dealers is stuff they cant figure out and have pretty much destroyed trying to fix. then they want it done dirt cheap and in 15 mins.
Sal..man I love your attitude and admire your faith! The only work I have ever done for dealerships has been at a Nissan store and I have done 3 or 4 cars for them....although they only send me stuff their guys can't handle, LOL. I would try to formalize an agreement with the GM before the busy-ness and business of life get in the way. The cool thing is you could work right there in the shop if you chose to (and not risk someone running a red light and writing off the car while you had it) and could do it right after your regular shift. But seriously though...freebies are over, time to strike while the iron is hot. Your faith and your work ethic have paid off...congrats!!
4 BMW dealers in 4 states I never met a GM that cars as much as the GM here at Nissan. Maxima's, Muranos, Titans, Z's and GTR's as well as the high end BMW, MB, Audi used cars we have he wants the best. Heck he pays 8 hours for the detailers if they tell him they need to "buff" the car. Thank you Ricky. The GM here is a hard guy that is all about business and never complimented anyone. I have had him pull me in the office 3x now and personally thank me and comment on my work ethic. It really is great when people notice there is something different about you especially when you know it is not "you" they see but it is Him who is in you. It really is crazy bc last month was a nightmare. Every 2 weeks I get a draw, then once a month my comission check (no salary a all). My comission check after y dray was -$15.70, but bc my CSI bonus and my MOC (a company Crown deals with for chemicals) my comission check was $500, I was pretty scared. After being thankful to God for the great opportunity He gave me and seeking Him more, my RO avg is more then double, the GM notices my hard work, for the most part my customers are happy with my service and I am tracking a number that will net me a bonus and maybe even hit or break a record. I know I could not improve myself in just this lil time. I really pray I get the chance to sit down with the GM and plan out how I can help him better the detailers, use me to perfect his high end cars and I can work my service advisor position and then detail on my day off or after work and make extra money.
