So when i first tried out the kit I was incredibly impressed with the looks of it, the sharpness of the sealant, the depth and wetness of the wax. Being that first and foremost I am a carnauba junky I was curious how much the midnight sun added to the look. I found that by itself the midnight sun was not impressive. Instead of being defeated i ventured on to top blackfire wet diamond with my second favorite wax Swissvax Onyx. I was completely blown away with how it looked.

Im sorry the pictures aren't the greatest (same angles, same time of day) but they are indicative of the huge difference that I saw:

the wet ice over fire shine look as shown above is crisp and is akin to an ice cube melting in the sun, it glistens and has clarity and sharpness, these features are mainly attributed to the wet diamond.

Now onto my coined Swiss Onyx over Fire Shine look
    [IMG]

the way I see this look is the following: The reflections are crisp because of the wet diamond, in person the paint looks like a film of water is sitting on the car waiting to be absorbed by a waffle weave, and the paint was darkened ever so slightly creating the illusion of depth. This combo was "glossier" if you will.

Overall my conclusion is this, If you're going to put a sealant underneath a wax, I would Highly reccomend the blackfire wet diamond as it is a great looking sealant that just benefits soo much more with a wax applied on top

I hope you guys enjoy and look forward to your comments

I can see the depth in the first pic. Looks really really nice.

I wonder if anyone has tried CMW over AFPP.

Looks good. I love my onyx as well. I always find myself wondering of the other more expensive SV waxes really look that much better to justify spending 250+ on them.

I have concorso also, and concorso does give a deeper shine than onyx, and concorso lasts a good bit, is it worth the 250? imo, yes, but then again i may not be right, or may be justifying the purchase in my head

    on edit:

the expedition in the background is just wearing BF wet diamond
and the corvette is wearing Supernatural (which hazed up on my again damnit)

Everyone that I have talked to and read is that Onyx gives the look of Concorso but does not last as long, maybe 1/2 the time. That is the selling point for most of the high end wax is not that they look better but they keep that look for a longer amount of time compared the lower alternatives.
