Carlos your work and attention to detail never ceases to amaze me time and time again. Is that your silver Lexus GX 470 in the last picture? I actually love those vehicles...

Wow Nica, you don't mess around, do you??

All three vehicles look absolutely amazing.

It's so nice to have customers that know how to properly care for their vehicles.

    Great work!! :applause2:

    The Subaru came out PERFECT!

Do you always wash your cars in your garage? How do you drain the water?

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it and yes the steamer makes quick work of all interiors.

Thank you, I'm just glad you didn't get bored through the long winded write up and the large amount of pictures :peace:

Well I was a bit tired but for the most part I didn't need to rush as the owner left me one vehicle at a time, so I worked the vehicles around my schedule. yes I'm a huge fan of 601/105 combo, I agree it's great that you don't have to even remove the 601. I just apply 105 on to top of 601 :thumb: Although in some casses I do buff 601 off but that dosen't happen as often. Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoye dit.

Yes, having my family around me wile detailing makes for some great conversations, most of all what I enjoy the most is that I'm showing my little princess how to work and enjoy working. I do my best to not spoil her, so everything she wants she can have...as long as she's willing to work hard for it..my wife things I'm a little hard some times but I grew up in a family where you had the choice of either working hard and getting rewarded or not working at all and receive no reward. I personally feel kids need to be taught how to work and be compensated for their rewards, it's a good way to insure the new generation matures with good working habits....but that's just me  Besides, kids learn by seeing/doing.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Yes, that's my GX. My wife didn't like it when we first got it but the first time I laid my eyes on the interior I was sold on it, just love the hard wood trim in it. I really like the exterior as well, for an SUV it has some nices curves...told my wife it reminded me of her :giggle: Any who, I'm glad I got the older model though becuase they changed the design of the GX and LX and I don't really like the new body style. Wife drives it most of the time, I'm only allowed to maintain it :shead:

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the long winded detail. I agree having customers that enjoy and appreciate their vehicles makes the detail much more rewarding :thumb: It also makes for great conversations with the owner(s).

I completely agree with you. I used to work at Lexus for 2 years about 3 years ago now and for some reason that GX was always one of my favorites to drive. Aside from everything else that you mentioned, I have never driven an SUV of that size that handles and rides smoother than the GX.

These details look great - thanks for sharing!

Maybe your client is using too much car shampoo when he's washing - stripping off the LSP without realizing it? :shead:

Looks amazing Carlos. How did you find working with DG 601 and 105? I want to give them a try. What's the application process if you don't mind me asking.

 I would have to agree 100% The ride on the GX is very, very nice. The vehicle I was going for was the Merc. G wagon (love those things). But even that didn't feel as smooth as the GX...I'm glad I went with the GX and extremely glad the deal on the G wagon didn't go through (even though at that time I was extremely annoyed that the deal did not go through).

Thank you Carn for the kind words, very much appreciated. I agree, detailing black color vehicles may be a bit of a pain at times but they are very, very rewarding when all is said and done.

You know, the owner and I discussed this and it's possible he may have used too much shampoo. Owner said he would pay more attention this time around but I still encouraged him to keep doing what he's doing because it's working great :thumb:

Working with DG# 601/105 combo is great Nikku, it's extremely easy to apply and just as easy to buff off. That's another reason why I enjoy this combo so much, to say it's user friendly is an understatement. So the application process I've developed is after I've polished the vehicle and given it the final wipe down I first apply DG#601. The nice thing about this product is that you don't have to buff it off, you can apply the sealant on top of it. I sometimes buff it off but most of the times I follow it up with DG#105 (which is the sealant). I try to let this combo bond over night but if I can't (which rarely happens in my case) I make sure I let it sit for at least 5hrs. But like I said most of the vehicles I detail I can keep for several days. So in my case after 24hrs I come back and buff off the sealant which will also remove DG#601. Before the owner comes to pick up the vehicle I give it a final wipe down with DG AquaWax (great product, highly recommend it) and that's how I use these two products.

    Hope this helps.

Wonderful work! :applause2: Btw, what type/make of garage flooring is that?

Glad you enjoyed it :thumb: As for the garage floor, it's called Ucoatit. I'm testing it out, I'm trying to see if it's true that it can withstand all kinds of chemicals, the company claims that it will hold up well against all sorts of chemicals...just as long as I rinse/wash the floor within the alloted amount of time  Any who, just something else I was curious on that's all
