Leave it off, IMPO it looks better with NO emblems.

The Stealership will have it if you must put it back on.

I had a customer have his 420 sel Emblem stolen twice.......Can't imagine why :joint: :iddi:

:shead:Holes..............All the ones I've seen are glued on. You could put a 420 Sticker over the holes. :giggle: J/K

If there are holes I would go back with the Original 525i Emblem. By putting a e60 Emblem you are sure to cause confusion down the road. Also anyone that knows anything will know its not a e60, then you will look like a Toolbox:shakehead:

Wait, isn't the e60 just BMW code for the current generation 5 series? So you have the e60 525i, 530i, 545i, etc. (seeing as the car is a 2006, which came before the revamp and new engines in mid 2007 for the 2008 model year).

If they just took off the "525i" there shouldn't be any holes. And TBH I probably would have taken that off in the first place, I am a fan of debadging (for the most part).

Please don't take offense JohnyB, but thats not the way to go. You would have to do the following:
    1)Hunt it down
    2)Drive to Salvage Yard
    3)Remove Emblem without damaging
4)Probally pay almost as much as the dealer would chage
5)Clean all the old glue off of emblem
6)Reglue, which I feel could turn out to be quite a Mess

The Dealership will have 1 in stock, probally be around $20-$30 max....Take it Home Line it up, peel double sided tape and stick

***Be sure and clean up the area were the old emblem was.

wait.... what exactly was taken? the BMW roundel or the 525i itself.

the numbers are glued on. you should be able to even go on an e60 forum and ask for a 525i to glue on yourself

:gasp:Oooops, I thought you meant the 525i emblem. Yes the BMW Emblem is held on with 2 bolts.

:shead:2 for $40, jump on it. If you look at the 1 on your hood, its probally faded. Might as well replace it also.

Very odd how anyone would steal a BMW roundel. But then again, it's probably a bling bling chain now for some punk kid "rapper".

    Love It^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^:giggle:

OP you need to LOCK your Car at Night, they can only remove bolts from the Inside of the Trunk.
