All the items mentioned were fully used at least a 16 oz bottle over as many cars as that would cover. Most ranging from 3/4 -1.5 oz per application depending on the product and how it was used. Lets see i may have more exposure than most. On and off 1-5 1 being a pain 5 being super easy or no wiping off Durability 1-5 is 1 month to 5 months of daily driver use in seattles winter. Interesting observations. I concour with all of your observations on the products that I have used. There are many more out there to try. Oh my aching wallet.
interesting about the opti seal being the easieast to apply. Ive never used it before, but I always thought because of its consistency it would be hard to get even coverage. Care to explain your application/removal method? Which out of all the products you listed made the most noticeable difference in the overall look of the paint?
I use a foam applicator pad. 2 spritzes on the pad, generally 8-10 per car. Light layers will flash over better than heavy layers. I received my bottle of jetseal many many months ago. it may be different than it is now. I was not overly impressed. It reminded me of PB ex-p
for me Natty's blue is not even 1/2 what CG5050 is. I cannot stand Natty's wax, unless you love to wax your car all the time.
interesting how many coats of jetseal you apply?? 2 as reccomended on bottle?? which swissvax wax is this test based on??
really, I found it to be about the same as FMJ. The key with these sealants is they almost all to the letter require 12 hours of cure time. if you don't give them the 12 hours before wipe off, then durability suffers imensely. the lone caviat is carnuba waxes and 1z glanz.
Really? Although I'm not really a fan of the stuff, it does bead very well for the first 3-4 weeks or so. Nice to know that the Glanz is good stuff, as i just got some for xmas.
