Hi guys, I'll detail a red C6 Corvette this weekend and only have 8 hours for a full job. I want durability but also want the ultimate look of the Souveran. Is there any benefit of topping 1 layer of EX-P with 1 layer of Souveran after a curing period of, let's say, 1 hour? Or if I'll fully eliminate the layer of EX-P? What's about KSG? I guess it's even worse? I unfortunately don't have Jetseal sealant and it's OSS locally so no luck. Thank you.
EX-P will not cure in a hours time and it is not that durable anyway.Just put on two layers of souveran giving one hours time between them for curing. If you are a nuba guy and like the look of souveran but would like something that last longer you should look into some Zymol titanium or glasur. Two coats of eithier of these waxes would last longer than your Pinnacle,Poorboys combo which I have tried in the past. This is just my two cents.
Steve at Poorboys recommends two coats of EX-P when using it. I had two coats on a clients F350 over last winter ( the truck sat outside ) and after 4-5 months it was still beading. That is better durability than most lower end carnaubas with the exception of Collinite 476.
