hey everyone back again with another detail. This car belongs to a co-worker and she wanted to get a full detail done minus polishing. Overall the car took me 10 hours :yikes: this being because the clearcoat was soo contaminated and dirty. roughly 6-7 hours of the 10 were spent on washing and claying the car since it was never given a proper wash. There was a lot of micro oxidation (i think i just made that up) and on the white paint looked like a million orange dots. Also when using the clay the grime on the hood and other parts didnt seem to come of easily. what this car needs is a serious polish which it might be getting in a few months. anyways here are the pics some afters were missing because once again the customer arrived before i could take some decent ones  since i work with her ill try to get some tomorrow. enjoy. any and all comments are welcome :thumb:

I think your "micro-oxidants" are actually metal deposits, presumably from rail transport, that had created rust. Looks great though! Natty's Red worked well on white, that stuff smells amazing!

You need to talk her into getting the polishing done! But amazing work so far, especially on those mats :yikes:

Nice job. The micro oxidation you speak of seems to look like rail dust to me.

yeh the polishing is most likely getting done in august before school starts again im hoping that will leave the car looking wet and even better

thanks!!! i went through 1.5 clay bars from the meg's clay kit. the one half was from when i did my car. i didnt use it and was surprised to find i had to on this car. wut saved the day on the interior was the steamer and the CG Fabric Clean :thumb:

Looking good, polishing will def help get the wet look. I find a great combo on white for a wet look is Danase Wet glaze topped with DG 111

most people just dont know the difference between taking their car to a car wash and hand washing it themselves or by a professional.
