Well looks like this fire truck is all showed out and it’s heading home. Well not quite, here is how it was brought back:






















First, I took care of all the wheel wells, rims and tires with various brushes and P21S Total Auto Wash. I didn’t bother taking pictures of this process as it’s routine process.

Once the rims, tires and wheel wells were done it was time to concentrate on the large exterior, first up I connected my CR Spotless System:


Checked the meter on the unit:

We are good to go :thumb:

Oh and once again family came along to help. We all enjoy detailing these fire trucks, they are fun to watch and my little girl just gets a kick of how big they are. The misses and my little princes were in bug duty:


I on the other hand proceeded to wash the vehicle with the two bucket method and sea sponge:


Like I said we enjoy detailing these fire trucks and I enjoy hiking up on top of these trucks:




The wash process was quite fast, all thanks to the family helping me out :cheerl: Another coat of DG 601/105 combo was applied and here are some afters:




























The washing process was made easy all thanks to DuraGloss, a few weeks a go I put two coats of DuraGloss, I’m glad I did because those bugs were quite the sight.

The interior also needed some attention, the interior will be taken care of with:

The interior was quite easy thanks to the steamer, it was steam and wipe. The entire interior was dressed with Meg’s #40 and here are the end results of the interior:

What kind of drums are they, you cant put a small hand pump in the opening?

 

Are they harder to open than Fender Guitar cases? :devil:ye:

Yes, not only do we get the fire trucks done faster but it's a good time, joking around fooling around. As for the drum it's quite large I think it's about 25L I think, I'll have to try again to drain some out because I really need some.

Awesome job Carlos, once again it is great seeing that it becomes a family affair. I miss deailing from my garage and having my help.
