I think this would be a cool thread to start to share our own batches and recipes for stuff we have mixed. I was planning on mixing some CG Citrus Wash & Clear with CG Sticky Wheel Gel to give it a longer dwelling time, considering it's not really a gel as it is. I've also mixed some CWG with some other stuff as a pre-cleanser with decent results, I should have added a bit of APC to the mix. (seen here http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f34/green-goop-creation-7100.html) What products have you guys mixed to yield better results, or just different results in general?
I'm always a bit surprised that the wax blending craze seemed to fizzle out. When I saw Chris' thread on another forum about Meg's #16 mixed with P21S I thought it was a brilliant idea. I will never go back to using 16 by itself. I have found the best proportion is two parts 16 to one part S100/P21s. I do the same thing with Collinite 915 for dark colors. I just use a simmering pot of water and in that place the jar I intend to store the blended wax in (diaper rash cream jars work great), mix gently with a plastic spoon, and let cool at room temperature. You end up with the best of both products, durability + ease of use + great looks. Who hasn't wished that 16 or 915 were easier to use? And who hasn't wished that S100 or P21S were more durable? The whole is greater than the sum of the parts! I also, and I think this is well known, mix a bit of Optimum Polish with 80 or 83 (about 1:8) to cut down on the dust and extend the working time. This promises to be a very interesting thread!
i have mixed different quick detailers together before. nothing fancy. i was actually thinking the other day about mixing 2 different liquid waxes together. i just need to get a full tin of the one so i can experiment with the two.

I remember I did something with Butter Wet Wax, Collinite 845, and FK425 and sent it to pektel. Duno if he used it. Anyone ever polycharge Jetseal?
I remember I was up hung on the cross when I first mixed waxes and made P16S. Has anyone blown up yet?

My objective with that set was to figure out what things I might put together to cause an explosion. I discovered that whatever chemicals might be missing from the set could be bought at the local drugstore. .We could go down to the hardware store and buy 100 feet of dynamite fuse, and the clerk would just smile and say, "What are you kids going to do?
