Reorganized the man cave!

Well I had been needing another set of shelves for the garage for my detailing stuff so I decided to get one a little more sturdy than the others I had. I bought one at Lowes and after getting it together decided I needed to reorganize everything. Well six hours later I had everything like I wanted it and my products are a lot more accessible to me now. Tried to get things grouped together to make it easier for me.

I also had been wanting a rolling cart but decided to take my tool box that had been housing my MFs and convert it so to speak. I took a couple of drawers out, the top off, and now I have a rolling cart. I now have a lot more room with the organization and the kids can get to their toys and bikes without having to work around the cars. Well anyway here are the pics of how it ended up.

Here's everything except the Pressure washer which is on another wall.



Couple of shelves and a cabinet (Sounds like an independent film, LOL)



5 gallons of Super Green Stuff, the extractor, Dionized water and speaker for tunes of course.



Various products I don't use that much but really glad I have along with glass stuff:



Portable sprayer with SGS and my shop vac:



Soaps, Spray sealants, Trim Shine and my beloved BH Clay:

I just noticed that the speakers for your tunes have what looks like little 6" kicker midrange..cool!

Nicely done dude! Not that your place was poorly organized, but this looks a lot better. Makes sense to have stuff organized by category (paint, carpet, gallon containers, etc).

Nice set up, JL! I've been thinking about sturdy shelves myself, where did you say you got yours, Lowes? Plastic ones keep bending, they are only good for lighter items.

I got them from Ebay at a killer deal. They are the Solo 418 sprayers. I think I got 5 of them for $50 shipped when I bought them. They are really nice and super sturdy.

Thanks. I got the faucets from 2 different places hence the 2 different styles. The first ones I got were from Griots Garage and are ok but the second ones I got were from US Plastics and I like those a lot better.

Oh yeah gotta have the Kickers! Man they do fill up the garage with music too. They used to be in a truck I had and were just laying around and I thought heck I should use these in my garage.

Man I don't know what I would do without mine.

I don't play as much as I did before I got into detailing. I was playing to a 6 handicap before detailing started making me money. Went out and hit some balls on my lunch hour the other day though and it felt great. I know you are from Albuquerque so did you by any chance play at Paako Ridge the other day?

I actually sit there sometimes debating what I want to use as I'll pick up one thing and see something I haven't used in a while and won't be able to decide which I want.

Yeah got it at Lowes and you are right the plastic ones are nice but can't hold up.
