Bear with me guys as I'm trying to do this from my blackberry. As a result of the way the "pictures of your significant others" turned out, I feel I owe Nica, a few other specific members involved, and our entire community here a sincere apology for my actions and words. I let some comments and opinions get the best of me, and as a result I conducted myself in a manner that seems to have been a bit unbecoming. I do love this forum, and as a member who posts regularly, I feel I can set a better example and not take away from the or damage the stellar quality and reputation that this forum upholds in the detailing community. As far as my choice in pictures to post, I can't help but laugh at myself. At the time I didn't think it was that inappropriate, but as Nica said, when in doubt, ask first. Again I admit getting caught up in the moment, and acting on impulse in a way. I would like to remain an active and valuable member of this forum as many of us "regulars" here are, and would once again like to entend my sincerest apologies to our community here as a whole. I feel I may have let some people down, including Nica, with my lack of tact recently. Nica, you run a great forum here and I apologize to you directly as well as thank you for being understanding and yet at the same time putting your foot down and taking action to shed light on the situation.
I have only looked at a few pics on the thread I try not to get caught up in the words to much. So I am not sure of what went on. But that is very manly and humble of you to take charge and apologize, makes this forum seem more of a family/community then just a place on the net like most forums.
Thank you for the apology billyblooshoes it means allot to me, really it does. We all make mistakes but stepping up and apologizing is something that shows character. Again thank you for the thread, very much appreciated.
I've always been skeptical of these threads, lol. It's not what you think, keep reading. On the Subaru forum (NASIOC) our local chapter had a similar thing happen. Guy made a thread title exactly like this. Typed out a paragraph saying he was sorry then something along the lines of "...wait. what am I talking about? You're all a bunch of biggoty #$%@s and @#$^ @#%@^ %^#$$#% #$#$" While comical, he was quickly banned. I'm glad it wasn't another one of those posts. billybob, it takes guts to admit you may have misstepped. Kudos to you.
Well I already apologized 3 times...:giggle: But again I am sorry if I offended anyone. I'm feeling like a Real D-Bag since I received My PM from Nica  I to got caught up in the moment,:sorry:
Wow, are you a writer for Hallmark? Can you tell me what how I can apologize to my girlfriend for yelling at her?
thanks for your kind words and support guys. and btw, roger (slanguage) is the only one on the forums who is allowed to talk trash on either me or my girlfriend as he's the only one on here who has actually met the both of us lol
haha i get that a lot actually. for whatever reason i can usually express myself and my thoughts more adequately by writing. writing and public speaking have always been some of my stronger assets....you know, when im not calling my girlfriend a hoe and whatnot haha ;-) (sorry i just had to throw that in there).
I too didn't see the pictures that followed out of order, but I did read Nica's comments earlier today (a very unhappy camper to say the least). Nonetheless, when someone is man (or woman) enough to admit their mistakes, it brings any friction or doubts down a few notches and quite frankly, that's what will make this forum a superb place to visit. Congrats on manning up! :thumb: :applause:
I missed something when I was on vacation. But I feel compelled to give kudos to Billy. This world has become a place of blaming others. We all make mistakes, but it takes a person of substantial character to admit, to everybody openly, that a mistake in judgment was made and takes the responsibility for it. My hat is off to you sir.
