Been lurking on this site for a while now, just wanted to share some pics of my collection. Now there's soooo many more products I wanna try, this is just what i've acquired in the past few months or so. Chemical Guys gallons 1Z Polishes, ONR, OID, CG Fade 2 black, tarminator, 1Z Glanz Makita 9227 w/3M BP Foam Pads Clay Microfiber Products I use the most Waxes I think I need more waxes. I can't compete with some of you guys. LOL this site is awesome, even tho it makes me spend more and more money. :shakehead: Theres so much info along with great pics of details! This hobby has become an addiction! :headbang:
I wonder If I need to start keeping all my pads in ziploc bags...they are in a storage drawer.. That is a nice bit of stuff you got there.. I'm going to have to take pics of my updated products tomorrow..
i'm sure a storage drawer is fine, my garage is pretty dusty/dirty so thats why i put em in the bags.
It was one of the first items i bought, after reading all the rave reviews about it. I just use my bare hands to apply it, altho it takes forever to do a car, i find it easier than having to heat up the wax, apply it to a foam applicator, then to the car. I know some people don't like applying wax with their hands, but i don't mind it.
I have done it by hand once..didn't care for it, and also let it sit out in the sun while finishing steps up to the LSP..its going to take me a while to get used to it...awesome results though!
about pads in ziplok bags. I used to do that, until I must've put one in (6.5" white lc flat pad) that was just a hair damp. Didn't use it for like a month and a half. Went to grab it, and it had started to develop black spots. I tossed the pad, and now they sit in a tupperware bin. lid on, but not secured, so it keeps dust out, but breathes. Just FYI to make sure the pads are completely dry when sealing the bags As for RBOE, get the finger pocket apps from Ben! I just used on the other day. Went on real easy. you just have to twist it in the pot to heat up the wax. spreads a lot thinner, and you use a lot less product per coat. You won't be dissapointed.
