Post processing fun

    I tried a bunch of new post processing things today. It's mostly burning and dodging techniques. All in all, I found these to be very useful and fun to use! I took these pictures solely to do post processing with later. The area didn't have a good shot around anyway. Too much clutter of vegetation :(

    Forgot to save the original, but I burned a lot of the shadows and dodged the brighter parts on the log.

    This one's almost straight from the lens. I darkened some areas with levels, and dodged the brighter areas for more contrast.

    Now this one had a lot of work done to it. I can't tell you exactly what I did, but I've got an idea.

    What program are you using for the post processing?

    I just went and got Photoshop CS4 and lightroom 2 but havnt got my head around it yet. Looks promising though.

    They look good, great job

    I'll have to get onto those programs and have a good play with them.
