CG Sticky Gel Citrus Wheel Cleaner

    I was wondering if I use the CG Wheel Cleaner with a 1:5 distilled water ratio, will it strip off any sealants I have on the wheels. Keep in mind no wheelwax or poorboys wheel sealant. A coat of Zaino AIO was put on them recently.

    Having used this product I would say that you should have no worries with that ratio. However, at that ratio, you will have a hard time getting stubborn grime off your wheels. I typically do 2:1 for normal grime and 1:1 for anything heavy. But at those ratios it will strip the protection.

    A CG rep I recently spoke with recommends 4:1, and he stated it shouldn't strip any wheel sealant off.

    If the wheels are maintained then yes but anything really above 3:1 is very weak for that product. I wish they would change the name of it since it's not sticky and it certainly isn't a gel but more like orange colored water.
