I have made a few purchases lately that came from different sources. I was waiting to get my Autowerekes order to post up and it came today. First is a folding work bench that holds up to 50 lbs. I got this idea from another DB'er who had made something out of an ironing board. My back always hurts from bending over on the stool to vacuum and steam the mats. Here is the perfect solution! Brings it up to my height. It was on sale last week at Crappy Tire for around $50 I think. Also my order from Justin came in with a gallon of ONR and the new mini EZ brush. I've used the brush once and I love it!! My order came in from Duragloss as well. I wanted to try a few things I hadn't as of yet. I got a gallon of the wet shine tire spray as well as a gallon of the flat black bumper dressing. I also bought locally some pumps for the tops of the gallon pails. I like them but find they leak a bit after pumping.:shead: Lastly, I got a few things from Ken. We rip on each other in public, but I gotta tell you, like numerous others have also found out, he is the man! My order came through and even though the delivery took a bit longer than I thought, the communication was excellent!! I really appreciated that. Also as a bonus, he through in 2 applicator pads..not necessary, but appreciated nonetheless!:applause: I think I'm set for a bit. I can't wait to try out these brushes! Workbench and DG and Justin order: (onr is my old bottle, used for illustrative purposes only) Autowerekes order: Free Autowerekes stuff:
Glad you got your stuff. The terry applicator is supplied with the AB but I find it really hard to use it without applying too much AB so I'm giving everyone who orders AB a free foam applicator as they work a lot better.
Thanks for clarifying that Ken. I should look up some BH posts b/c I believe there's a preferred way of applying it. Also, I forgot to mention, I wanted a low stool to work on wheels. I had a pretty low one but needed something lower. Found this one in the baby section at WalMart. It is sturdy as hell..holds like 400 lbs, so it'll hold my fat ass up!! hahaha Seriously though, having a low stool is a godsend. Thanks Denzil
There is but I'm not telling you until you try once by yourself. LOL Kind of a hazing if you will!:applause2:
If only I hadn't read this quote moments after my posting: BH Autobalm meets just about everyone of your criteria. Put it on very thin, do only a 2x2 area at time, and buff off after about 10 seconds after you put it on and it will do everything you want. :spank:
Nice orders. Where did you get the cute lil step stool? lol The brushes look great. I want to try Auto Balm. Report back opn the DG 271
Great haul there Rich! You will love the Autoglym Hi-Tec cleaning pad and the Raceglaze wheel brush is the best wheel brush I have ever used. I used my Raceglaze brush for the first time yesterday and it will clean behind some really tight calipers. I have yet to find a brush other than the flimsy Autozone one that would clean behind the calipers on my Jeep but the Raceglaze brush did with no problem and is extremely sturdy.
Thanks. Thank you Bryan. Thanks Roger. The stool came from the baby department from WalMart..I looked there from a tip...it was lower than the one in housewares and cheaper too plus it held more weight...just gotta get past the bright colours! No kidding..what's the 1st clue it came from the baby department?? Thanks JL..I think that with my 2 EZ brushes, this raceglaze one and one of the others for calipers when I need it should do damn near every job that comes my way. Now if I can get my fricken knee better so I can start doing all these jobs I have put off...
I was looking at the brush set you purchased, I can't wait to see how you like them...nice stuff could you post some pictures of the DG stuff put to use?? thanks!!
Thanks Tom..can't wait to try them! I'd be happy to I didn't wait long..my wife is taking her Pacifica up to Bayfield tomorrow with some co-workers so I did a wash and a coat of AB. Easy to use..really darkened up the paint. It was smooth already from the DG stuff on there, so it is unbelievable now!! That stuff's a keeper!
