hmm. I've always wondered if CWG was too strong for routine washing. If I am doing routine washes, I use autobahn, z7 or even dp suds, to do the job.

    i use p21s or swissvax.

last week i used cwg..but i add soap as i need more lubricity so i have just enough..when i was teaching my buddies..they started washing..i was like STOP!!!!!!! there isn't enough soap it was like using a sponge and water.. i added a lil bit more and bam perfect!!! but i have added say only 20-30% more than i used last time and it stripped some wax. not all of it though..

Was wondering if you have given it a second try? Like properly prep the surface with SV cleaner fluid? Or even waxing the car closer to when the car got clayed? Thinking of ordering Mystery soon. This bad review without substantial feedback is worrying me.

I think Mystery looks great but there are a lot of waxes that look just as good for a lot less IMO. I would expect more then 3 weeks out of it.

Where have you parked the car?

I had Zymol Royale on a an Audi since about 1 Month.

It was beading very strong until it was parked one day near where a construction firm renewed the street.

The car was grey and even after washing the paint felt like sandpaper.

After claying (about 2 hours, cause after 1/4 pannel the clay was brown/black) the surface felt quite smooth but the beading was pretty much gone.

I will give it another try and see how good the durability will be without that amount of dirt

    :sorry:
ive tried a few SV waxes and though finding most pleasant to work with, lovely fragrances, easy application and removal...i just didnt find them that exciting other than my heart racing at some of there prices.
there is far far better products for gloss, slickness and durability than SV.
ive found some medium grade waxes in the low cash categorie which flick the switches in a better way IMO.
as for the dodo argumanet earlier on its down to personal preference, i think there is a majority that will say that dodo juice is a good all rounder in the wax category including myself......that said but again some can come at a cost.
never let it be said that i wont try anything different, im not the biggest zymol fan but i would even choose zymol over SV, unfortunately it doesnt float my boat.

Give it another shot, maybe the surface bonding had some issues.

almost sounds like your washing with too much soap? I have had glasur on for 3-6 months and it has stopped beading in some areas but on others its still going strong. Pre wash it doesnt bead and then after the wash it beads.

maybe someone else can add in here but the lubricity shouldnt be your safeguard to keep from marring when washing. Techniques should be. 2 BM, proper wash media rinsing, starting at the top of the car and doing the back end last etc. Maybe add a capfull of onr for your lubricity w/ the right amount of soap.

I don't have the same problem, I applied Mystery on my car in November and during the hard Norwegian winter I've used degrease several times during the winter and in March, Mystery was still present...

ezyme lasted 2 months and had the shortest length of any wax i have ever used.. it was on 15 year old bmw paint but that shouldn't really matter.. plenty of clear.. and it isn't that you say ezyme is better.. i have like 7 swissvax waxes and none have lasted less than 3 months.. i get 6 months washing once every 1-2 weeks with p21s as my shampoo or with swissvax.. plus everyone on here gets around 4 times the length you get.. simply put it was/is the prep or the shampoo you used was more concentrated than you thought.. with swisswax i always follow the directions to a "T".. same with zymol.. but i used SV cleaner fluid with that as well. I find it very hard to believe you are the only one with a Pot that lasts 3 weeks.. that was my point like 8 months ago.

ezyme is applied differently then swissvax waxes.. it is an on/ off wax.. you can let it sit for like 2 mins.. swissvax needs that 10-15min to "cure".. so if you applied them the same way and just put the swissvax on and wiped it right off that would be another reason to only get 3 weeks.. so many variables.. i mean it isn't possible to get 1 pot that lasts 3 weeks.. they test an entire batch .. it is mixed to perfection at a molecular level.. i have messed up with swissvax.. a ton of people have thinking you can apply it however you want but you really can't. if you Love ezyme great.. i just was really disappointing after a month with that wax.. plus application is very very greasy and it soaks up the applicator more than any swissvax vax or zymol i have ever used.. ezyme just melts.. so i can see how a wax like that wouldn't last too long over a hard wax like mystery. it's just in my mind it's like saying a honda civic will beat a m3..it is just not possible from my experience with swissvax..and i had the 3 week issue before too. but application was my problem and others esp if you don't use swissvax all the time. no hard feelings.. i just don't get how a company would have a quality issue like your describing.

oh an why hasn't anyone bought a gloss meter so we can see which waxes are more reflective? that could solve much debate. and scott have you tried BOS or crystal Rock? never used better waxes then those..longevity plus great looks.. i get 5-6months with them on top of js 109.. and i get compliments on the road and parking lot's daily on the shine.. i know it's 90% 85rd.. but still i get a noticeable difference with say BOS over any wax in your price range.. please tell me these far superior products? i would love to try them i have about 6k in detail supplies so what's a few more waxes to try out?
