Ok so I just need a couple more things for my business, and the first thing I'm looking for is a good leather conditioner. I don't need a cleaner, but I want a conditioner that will make the leather SOFTTTT, that's all I really care about. I have Lexol, which is fine for some leathers, but I don't feel like it's good enough to use to treat the leather of the Range Rover I'm doing next week. Any good recommendations? Preferably a reasonable , and if possible, OTC. I head the Lexus leather conditioner was really good. Opinions?

Also, since I need to detail in my driveway, I need to find a good canopy(If that is what it's called) to cover the cars, basically I just want it to protect from rain and the tree over my driveway and offer some shade. So what is a good size, I will be doing a lot of different cars. It doesn't need to cover the entire car, just enough for me to detail under. I don't want to spend too much money on one.

    Cliffs:
    1. What is the best, cost-effective leather conditioner?
    2. What is a good size, but still cheap canopy?

You might want to find out the build of the seats on that vehicle you are doing. Some vehicles are coated leather, and some are not. I tend to find that just getting the layer of caked on crap off of the seats helps with the feel of being softer. I love Woolite at a 8:1 ratio. As far as getting something OTC, I would try and look locally for a supplier of Duragloss products.

I used DG leather conditioner on a RRover last week and both the owner and I loved it. Light leather smell which totally suits the RR and it doesn't leave and kind of residue. I applied with a MF applicator pad and massaged it in until all residue was gone. Doesn't take very long. Very easy to wipe off as well if you get some where it doesn't belong.

Ok cool, thanks, I'll check for Duragloss tomorrow.

Anybody have any suggestions for the best cost to size canopy?

I would agree, one of the best cost efficient leather conditioners is Duragloss... Best leather combo when price is not a concern is Leather Masters.

As for a leather conditioner, I too use DG's and have also used Zaino's...both seem very similar, although hte DG one is cheaper. As far as a canopy is concerned, no idea, never had to use one. I did use the SEARCH feature, putting in the word canopy and found many results.
    Try this
    or this
    or here
    or here
or of course, your own search. Good luck.

Oh yea I know about good deals on them, thanks for all the threads, but I was kinda wondering more of what a good size would be, such as 10x12 or so. Thanks though!

I have a w10x20L at tractor supply for 89. 99 I was looking around for one and see it in the newspaper.
Just google it, thats where I first started, you might just want to get a 10x10 maybe since u said it does'nt have to cover the whole car, check biglots, lowes, tractor supply, I have seen 10x10's as low as $15 so I guess its all up to what size you want.

Try this just found catalog Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices its a cheap tool website

    hope this helps

i would want one that will cover the entire car so you are out of the sun when you dry, polish, wax, etc.

my ideal one would probably be a 10x20 or something like that

i'd suggust atleast 12' width since 10' would usually mean the poles are right next to the door. 15' is the normal length of a car. im actually setting up a car port in my back yard 20'x12' for about $380 shipped. they have 20x12 ez ups at kmart.com if you are looking for that, i wanted something more sturdy/permanent
