As stated already, excellent job on both of the trucks, you will most definitely owe your wife and daughter a big reward.:worship2:
wow great job! That must of been a long day or two doing both of those trucks. Glad that your family was also able to join in on the fun, they may of thought otherwise. Just wondering, how much polish would you go through doing one of the larger trucks?
blinding! never heard of a fire truck wanting a pro detail. rather you than me mate but nice work:thumb:
Nica..OUTSTANDING....I always liked your fire engine posts because of all the sheetmetal that has to be done....you my friend have done a outstanding job..I am sure you have earned a great reputation out there as your work is Superb.... on a side note...glad they like the DG products..they prove how durable it is as they wash the trucks weekly... Nice job Al
Nice work and write up..I always enjoy your work but for obvious reasons the fire trucks have to be a favorite of mine..a lot of paint equals hard work..again nice job ..
I'm speechless! :applause: Simply fantastic work, as usual! :worship2: You have definitely been blessed with a fantastic "work crew" as well. Thanks for sharing these jobs with us. Now go :thud: you deserve it.
Thank you all for the kind words and feed back very much appreciated, family and I appreciate it. My wife has been reading the feed back and she too appreciates it. This was definitely a team effort and yes I owe my family big for this one..well not necessarily owe but more like they have earned a treat Wife has already hinted on her price and same goes for my little girl but I'm more then happy to award them as they both worked hard on these fire trucks, again thank you for the kind words :hippie: Thank you, glad you enjoyed it eace: As for correcting the roof on an SUV, I just use a latter tall enough to get my self up there and stand on the latter and lean over to do the roof, it's not the most comfortable area to work on but it gets done, hope this helps. Glad you enjoyed it, as for the amount of polish. Well once the pad is well primed you use just as much polish as when polishing a regular vehicle...maybe a little bit extra due to larger flat panels but I wouldn't say it's significant. What doesn't last is the Optimum Tire, these huge tires take lots of product to dress oh and LSP, in this case DG but other then that it's really no different then a normal vehicle...well plus the size :giggle: Hey Al, thank you for the kind words my friend very much appreciated. I'm very glad I listened to you and many others that put me in the path of DG it's a great product. The owner of this outfit always requests DG as he has noticed the difference once you rinse the vehicle. DG is my go to sealant now :thumb: Glad you enjoyed it and good to see you around my friend eace:
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it...and yes I too amazed my self completing two fire trucks in one day but I couldn't have done it with the help of the family, so thanks to them I was able to concentrate on the paint correction wile wife and little girl did the rest...literally did the rest :thumb:
Wow, amazing turnaround Nica! and even the familia was there to help out also is so great to see that. Tu Trabajo salio magnifico Nica.......:mounty:
Wow, What do you charge for something like that? I wouldn't even know where to begin the estimate lol. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feed back, very much appreciated. Family sure came in handy :thumb: Well it all depends on the products your using and how much you value your time, it only took me one fire truck to figure out the cost break down...breaking down cost is actually easy if you reverse engineer it :thumb:
Damn Carlos, you and your family did this all in one day WOW, I was telling you last time we talk that it took me 22 hours in the course of 2 days to finish the latest vehicle, I was proud that I did it that fast LOL:headbang: .....Now I feel kind of slow :waiting:.. like I said last time I visited, you are lucky to have an understanding family amazing work like always.:thumb:
