Well after being laid off February 28, I finally found a new job! I accepted the offer yesterday, and am waiting to here back on the start date. It's only a 1 year contract, but with IBM a huge company with many projects. I hope after the year is up they extend me an offer for a permanent position. I was getting close to sellin' some of my supplies, to pay the bills.
Congrats and I hope it all works out after a year for you. Hopefully things are starting to turn around.
That is awesome!! Times are tough right now in any field out there with the flood of unemployed. I am almost up on my 120 day contract, hopefully they will decide to keep me for I have turned my department around from a long run of being downhill.

I'm fortunate enough to have weathered some severe layoffs and cutbacks with my company. I bet you fill 1000% percent better now! The important thing is you DIDN'T have to sell your detailing supplies, right? Amirite?!
Congratulations. I know what it's like. I was unemployed for 6 months last year and when I did work it was very low pay. Thankfully I finally found a great job and started on Jan 5 of this year.
Congrads, I was laid off Dec 22, went on an interview in Bluffton SC hope to land this job. I filled out 18 apts today alone.
