Product Name: Uber Red Wax Applicator Pad

Price: $2.38 each when purchasing 2 or more. Took advantage of Phil's 20% moving sale.

    Size: 5" x 1.5" thick

Appearance: I didn't expect the applicator pads to be that thick. I was throwing them around like frisbees when first held them.

Direction: Use for applying your favorite waxes.

I used the applicator for the first time with Supernatural (Iroku) pot. This pad fits perfectly over the opening. I just lay it over the top and spin it a couple times and I'm good to go.

Ease of use: I have medium sized hands. At first I thought it would feel clumsy with such a big applicator. This sucker is the size of the pads I use for buffing. Boy was I wrong, this thing rocks. It never felt like it was gonna fly out of my hands.

Appearance: A big red flying saucer. The quality on this applicator is top notch. Its not hollow inside like regular yellow wax applicators. Those are actually two pieces of foam binded together with the hard ring around the circumference. This one is a solid piece of extremely soft red foam.

Durability: I think this thing is going to outlast all my yellow applicators. I see a difference in texture after the first use on those cheap yellow ones. This one retained the same texture and shape after use.

Pro: Extremely soft foam for applying waxes/glazes. Fits very comfortable in my hands. Size of the pad definitely allows more surface area to apply your wax. Thickness of pad give you good even pressure if that helps when waxing.

Cons: I don't have any waxes besides SNv2. I know some people complain about wax pots with tiny openings. I wonder how I would fit this thing in there. Thats my only concern.

Overall comments: I can finally stop worrying about the damn hard plastic around those yellow applicators. I'm always extremely careful when using them. Now, thats the thing of the past. Phil should make these pads using different grades of foam for hand polishing.

Rating (out of 5): 4.5 out of 5 just because I know one day its not going to fit into a wax pot and I'll have to scrape some out. I only got 2 of these. I need more than 2 now. This is now my favorite applicator pad.

+1. I just bought 2 of these during that sale too. I really like the tapered edge to get into tighter areas, and close to trim. I like it better than the euro ccs ones.
