I have seen and read that Lusso Oro is pretty good but I am wondering what else is out there that works well for light colored vehicles. Prima Banana Gloss works decent but I'm looking for something that would come in a pot or is more nuba based.
Blackfire Midnight Sun is nice as it also has the same polymers in it as their sealant so its shines pretty nice and a couple coats will give good durability. It doesn't mute metallics either. Oh look, its on sale here for 15% off Products - Autowerkes Exclusive Sorry about that. Couldn't help myself.
I'm a huge fan of Glasur, it gets over looked quite often but it's an incredable wax for light colour vehicles...don't let the discription foold you...Porche paint only, no such thing but on light colour vehicles, white, silver, bashe...ect..ect..it's a great looking wax. I also like the Victoria Collector wax, I think that's the name, any who it's the yellow one. That's a great wax for light colour vehicles. Well those are the only ones that come to mind at the moment, hope this helps.
P21S 100% is phenomenal on light colored vehicles. It has superb clarity and makes metallics pop like crazy.
The best I've found, on my modest budget, is ( full credit: this was Chris Pace's idea originally) a melted combination of #16 and P21S or S100. I use about two-thirds 16 to one-third S100. Easy to use, very, very durable and plenty of pop on light colors.
I really like Pinnacle Signature Series II...It makes my Silver Monte Carlo SS look out of this world...:thumb:
I melt them together in a shallow plastic screw-top container sitting on the surface of water in a small pot on the stove (a bit like a double-boiler). The water shouldn't be too hot, about 60-65 celsius. After both waxes have melted, stir them together gently, and allow to cool at room temperature. You end up with the best of both waxes. A 16 that's super easy to use, or a S100 with incredible durability. For dark colors I use equal parts 16, Collinite 915 and S100. I should stress again that this wasn't my idea, Chris came up with this a couple of years ago on another forum, but as soon as I saw it, I thought it was a great idea.
Iv had great experiences with Liquid Souveran. Its funny because i put it on my dads white 98 Trans Am and people that know nothing about wax came up to him and asked why does his car look sooo wet and glossy looking. They were like it looks like it was just painted.Durability though isnt that great.Probably 2 months for an outside vehicle.
