No wonder this place had to lay off so many thousands of workers. Here's the story. I ordered some RAM from new egg. It shipped out of Memphis,TN. Memphis is 85 miles from me. Well these brainiacs put it on a truck and ship it to somewhere in Kentucky to deliver it to the USPS Postal Service, so they can send it to me. :shead: :shead: :shead: :shead: :shead: :shead: :goodn: DHL :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
Oh. I'm not knocking NewEgg. The shipping was free, so I cant complain about that. I just think its a little asinine to ship something a couple of hundred miles north and then that much farther south, when I'm less than 85 miles from the original shipping point to begin with. Also like Tigerdirect too.
That is ridiculous...if they were smarter and saved money by not doing stuff like this, then they could bring down their rates a bit and really battle UPS/FedEx
